Python Job: Commercial Data Analyst (M-F-D)

VMRay’s Business Intelligence function, that is part of our Finance organization, drives business growth by deriving relevant actionable insights from the vast array of business data and communicating them in a simple digestible way to the business leaders, enabling them to make consistent data-driven decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• You will work closely with finance, sales and marketing teams to ensure we have the right and accurate data tracked and captured in our systems.
• You will derive actionable insights from these data that answers the relevant business questions.
• You will communicate these insights in a simple digestible way to business leaders using a variety of tools, including relevant dashboards, regular reporting and ad-hoc presentations as needed.
• You will act as a valuable business partner to our sales and marketing teams through both a supporter and a challenger role, to ensure data remain the backbone of all of our key decisions.
• You will support the CFO and CEO for investor presentations and other external needs.

Our Requirements

• You have strong proficiency in one or more of SQL / R /Python etc... along with Excel.
• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI would be highly desirable.
• Experience working with SalesForce or other similar CRM tools is a nice to have.
• You have a structured analytical mindset towards problem solving, with the ability to analyze large data sets and condensing them into simple, understandable and actional insights.
• You have the communication skills to work directly with both senior business leaders and operational team members and those with or without data/analytical background.
• You have a strong affinity towards commercial aspects of the business and inherent drive towards problem solving in a pragmatic fashion.
• Fluency in English.
